Easy-to-Make Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Chocolate Brownies RecipeI bake a batch of homemade brownies at least once every month. I bake them for bake sales at our church, for my grand daughter’s Girl Scout meetings, for hubby to take into work and I’ll bake them when we want something to munch on. Baking a batch of brownies from scratch is really easy and making them is a lot less time-consuming then whipping up a batch of cookies or making a fancy cake.

While we do enjoy blonde brownies from time-to-time…chocolate brownies are hands-down our favorite ones to make! If you plan on making them for a bake sale, I like packaging them in those smaller snack-size zipper close baggies.

Easy-to-Make Chocolate Brownies Recipe

4 squares unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray your 8 x 8″ baking pan with nonstick vegetable spray.

In a microwave safe bowl, combine the unsweetened chocolate squares with your 3/4 cup of butter. Heat on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes in your microwave until the chocolate and butter are melted.  Stir in the granulated sugar, large eggs and vanilla extract until all ingredients are combined. Stir in the all-purpose flour and mix well.

Spread the brownie batter into your prepared baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 35 minutes or until done. Be care to not over bake! Once they’re done baking, remove the pan from the oven and let them cool to room temperature. Once cool, slice brownies into squares and store them in an airtight container.

  7. These sound amazing and so easy to make. I haven’t had brownies in so many years and I have never had ones like this right out of the oven. When it cools down a little I really want to make these.

This looks like a quick & easy recipe, which is good! I love baking but seem to have trouble with brownies for some reason. They always get too hard around the edges. Lately, we’ve been cooking them in muffin tins & cupcake holders to prevent that, lol.

  9. This is an easy recipe and perfect when you need something lip smackin’ good to bring with you to a get together or to a neighbor, or just for a fast dessert!
