Kid’Sleep Moon Sleep Trainer by Claessens’ Kids

Kid'Sleep Moon Sleep TrainerHow many of you are the parent of a little one who has issues when it comes to sleep? I know for myself, my first child was a great nighttime sleeper but my second child (now 6 months old) has issues with it. I think these issues started when I went back to work working one shift after maternity leaves and now for the past 2 months, I’m back on my 9 to 5 work shift which has him all mixed up.

About 4-5 nights every week he will get up a few times and want to play. Majority of the time he’s not wet and not hungry…wants playtime and I need to get my sleep to get to work the next day. He’s a great napper during the day but at nighttime, well, that’s been our issue for the past 2 months.

Let me introduce you to a great item for parents called a Sleep Trainer – Kid’Sleep Moon by Claessens’ Kids. This is not a toy that you stick into your child’s crib, it’s a sleep trainer and nightlight to help train your child to sleep better and during the proper times.

Kid'Sleep Moon Sleep Trainer

Sleep Trainer Features:

* 4 choices of lullaby
* 4 choices of alarm
* silent mode
* 4 levels of brightness
* Full force traditional nightlight
* Smart Sunset – Go to Sleep Function
* Smart Moonset – Wake Up Process
* 3 Settings – Nighttime, Nap + Weekend

If you have a child less than 30 months of age they recommend using this patented sleep trainer as a night light. The two parts of the main display light up at the same time. With that said, my son is almost 7 month sold and I found many of the features of this product extremely helpful in getting him to sleep better and for longer periods of time during the night.

It comes with a manual that walks you through step-by-step on setting it up. The only 2 functions to be adjusted at the start are the clock and the 3 different wake-up times: The time to wake up in the morning, after a nap in the afternoon and the time to wake up during the weekend. All of the settings are very easy to set up and only take a few minutes to do.

When it is time to go to sleep (evening or nap) light up your Kid’Sleep by turning the main button to I. The main display then shows the lit-up character in the sleeping position, the LCD shows the moon. This is what your child sees at night or during their afternoon nap. Ten minutes before the set wake-up time, the moon starts to wane and your child knows that soon it will be the time to get up. They call this part the “Wake Up Process”.

At the pre-set time, the sun will rise on the LCD display and the character switches to the awake position. Your child will know that it is time to wake up.  All of the other functions of the Kid’Sleep Moon are preset but they do include full instructions on how you can change those pre-set settings too! Trust me, you can totally customize all of the settings to suit your own needs.

You can use the clock with or without the alarm, so that you don’t disturb others. My son loves listening to the lullaby and it plays for 3 minutes and then shuts off automatically and you can choose from 4 different lullabies. You can set different times for the weekdays as compared to the weekends.

The Sleeper Trainer Kid'Sleep Moon

Like I stated earlier, my son is almost 7 months old and we’ve been using the Kid’Sleep Moon for a few weeks now and I’ve definitely seen an improvement in his sleep habits. As he gets older, I’m sure he’ll fully grasp this sleep training concept and things will improve even more.

As a parent, I love that I can customize the settings to suit my family’s schedule and needs. Just in the past couple of weeks, I’ve seen my son go from getting up several times a night & wanting to play to only getting up 1-2 times per night and taking a bottle and going back to sleep. That’s a HUGE improvement! We are going to continue to work on this and I’m sure I’ll see even more improvements on this as we go along.

One final thing…I also have a 6 1/2 year old girl and having this Kid’Sleep Moon has also helped her to sleep better too. So, it’s not just for the wee ones or for the older ones. You can use it with children of many different ages!

You can purchase the Claessens’ Kids Kid’Sleep Moon Nightlight, White/Blue on Amazon for a really great price!

    This sounds like a great device . I shall have to examine it on Amazon and see if my son would want it for his sons.

  2. My grandson also seems to be getting up at night wanting to play so I think this would be helpful for him. Having him sleep better at nighttime would be a huge plus for his mom and dad since they are looking forward to some better nights sleep.

    Super! I love that it is so adjustable, and has so many different settings for lullaby, alarms, level of brightness, etc. How I wish I had this when my daughter was young, she didn’t sleep through the night until she was 10 years old! Maybe she would use this now, she has 3 kids of her own. How time flies!

  4. (Kid’Sleep Moon Sleep Trainer by Claessens’ Kids) My son and his wife have something like this product for my grandson. They say it has helped him with his sleep pattern in many ways.
