No Bake Honey Cheese Cake Recipe + Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Blue Isle Yogurt SpreadsThe holidays are a walk down childhood memory lane. Holiday parties, family gatherings, and of course – amazing smells wafting out of the kitchen. While the main risk of eating dessert as a kid was spoiling our appetites. As adults, the decadent desserts we grew up with can trigger childhood feelings of joy, but also can spoil our best intentions to eat in healthy moderation. Scientists suspect that taste and memory are inextricably bound. Nostalgic flavors, like holiday desserts, bypass the part of the mind that is logical and travels directly to the primitive brain, seat of instinct and memory.[1] Many seasonal sweets are notoriously high in fat, sugar and calories; that cause a strong sudden release of dopamine in the regions of the brain that experience reward. This response gives them their name, ‘comfort foods.’ However, the good news is these delicious foods don’t have to wreck havoc on your personal health goals. Probiotic and calcium rich, Blue Isle Mediterranean Yogurt Spreads is the healthy solution for swapping cream cheese, dips, oil, butter, sour cream, and crème fraiche! By simply swapping Blue Isle Mediterranean Yogurt Spreads, you can enjoy childhood favorites, without the guilt.

Blue Isle Yogurt Spreads

My Thoughts: I was sent several of the Blue Isle Yogurt Spreads to try out for all of you.  One of the things I love about this product is that you can use it as a substitute ingredient in your favorite recipes (as shown above) or you can use it as a spread. For example…we like using the Blue Isle Blueberry Yogurt Spread on our toasted bagels which is delicious! It’s rich, creamy and loaded with flavor! Very easy to spread too!

Blue Isle Original Yogurt Spread

The Blue Isle Original Yogurt Spread is delicious on top of your favorite dessert pie! Normally we top our pies with some frozen whipped topping but found that we LOVED using the original yogurt spread on top of our pumpkin pie! Oh my…I don’t think we’ll go back to frozen whipped topping ever again!

The Blue Isle Yogurt Spreads are very easy to use! You can use them as-is as a spread on your baked goods, as a topping on pies or mix a big spoonful into your mashed potatoes. You can use it as a recipe ingredient like we’ve shown you above with the no-bake pie and chocolate chip cookies. Once you try it, it will become a classic staple in your home! The more you use it, the more ideas you’ll come up with on how to use it!
