Meatless Meals You Can Live With

Sometimes it is nice to take a break from meat. It is great for your health to include several non meat dishes every week plus it is great for your wallet too! We enjoy many dishes that are meatless and I want to share a few of them to give you some ideas on how to reduce the meat costs and improve your health too.

Meatless Meals You Can Live With

A few weeks ago I shared my Simple Sausage and Spinach Quiche Recipe. This can totally be made without the sausage for a quick and easy meal that is filling and so tasty too.

Burritos are so easy to make without meat. Simply use Ranch Beans, chili beans, or refried beans along with plenty of veggies and your favorite toppings. Avocado makes a great addition when not using meat. Or try my Quick Egg and Potato Burrito Recipe.

Pasta is a quick meal and perfect for using no meat. Spinach and cheese lasagna or veggie lasagna is a tasty choice. We like marinara and pasta with cheese for a flavorful meal. Or a fresh tomato, basil and spinach pasta whips up easily too.

Meatless Meals You Can Live With - Homemade Pizza

Don’t forget Pizza. A tasty veggie pizza and plain cheese pizza seems to hit the spot too! Here are 2 Homemade Pizza Recipes you can check out and eliminate the meat. YUM!

Another favorite here is baked potatoes with broccoli and cheese sauce. So easy and affordable to make. YUMMM I think these are going on the menu next week. It has been a while since I made them

Omelets and Eggs are an affordable option to meatless meals. We love omelets and enjoy them often for breakfast or dinner. Here is a Easy Tomato and Jalapeno Omelet Recipe.

Hope these help you save some cash and enjoy some meatless meals. Share some ideas and recipes you use for meatless meals.

I Absolutely Love Vegtables. To use these in anyway for a meal would be great for me..The “Simple Sausage and Spinach Quiche Recipe” without the sausage sounds so delicious to me.. I think I will plan for this recipe the next time I go shopping. Most probably within the next 2 weeks. Thankyou for all the Delicious recipes that you post.I really enjoy them! :0)~~

  3. I love veggies and really enjoy the ones that go on sale in the Fall like squash, pumpkin, and yams. They are so easy for me to steam and use in any dish and so nutritious too. I’m not much for meat but I do get nuts and seeds in my diet so it all evens out.

OMG! That looks TOO good! I don’t eat much in the way of meat anyway (who can afford it, anyway?), so most of my meals are veggie-type, anyway. And did someone say CHEESE? I’m a card-carrying cheeseaholic here. Cheese – it’s what’s for dinner! (And breakfast. And lunch!)

  6. I eat meatless meals more often than not. I like eggs in so many ways.
