My daughter recently got married and had a wedding registry at Best Buy. Like most engaged couples, they needed a lot of things for their new home but decided to select items for their wedding registry to help them plan out future date nights at home.
I think this was a really smart thing to do because they already have one child and now another one is on the way. To get out weekly for date nights is really hard to do when you have young children at home.

Ernie and Jenelle are really big comedy and romantic movie buffs so one of the things they wanted was a new flat panel TV. During the daytime the kids can watch their kiddie movies and cartoons and then once into bed…the two of them can snuggle up on the sofa and watch a good movie together! They had already decided that they wanted a new DVD player and were going to give their old one to their daughter. It is important to have affordable item on the registry. I am glad that BestBuy has such a good one.
Good suggestions and useful. Things they will use a lot after the wedding. Plus, it’s nice to have things of all expenses. People will often go together to buy you a more expensive gift that the couple wouldn’t be able to buy on their own. Good planning, and good luck with date nights with two. 🙂
