Two of My Favorite Beauty Products

concealer and pressed powderOver the past 6 to 8 weeks I have reviewed several different products from Mary Kay for all of you. Well today, I am back again with 2 of my absolute favorite products and I am excited to tell you about them today.

For this review, I received a complimentary concealer and a complimentary sheer mineral pressed powder from Mary Kay.

Let’s start with the fabulous concealer which is packaged in a small squeeze tube and I love that! Most are packaged in stick-form and I always have issues with them breaking off. I love that this concealer is a creamy liquid and packaged in a small tube!

For the review I received the “Ivory 1” shade which is perfect for my skin tone. I love applying this underneath my eyes to help cover up my dark under-eye circles. I also like applying it on my eyelids to use as an eye shadow primer. If I get the rare breakout, I use it to cover those up too!

A little bit of this concealer goes a long way! I use a tiny bit under each eye and get great coverage. It blends in quickly and isn’t sticky or greasy. I have never had an issue with it clogging my pores either!

I also received the Sheer Mineral Pressed Powder from Mary Kay in the “Beige 1” shade which again, is perfect for my skin tone. Typically when you think of “mineral powders” they are in a loose form powder which makes a mess. I am not found of loose powders at all. This one is pressed and comes in a little compact.

You can apply it by using a regular powder puff or brush. Personally, I use my Kabuki brush for application. The mineral pressed powder gives you sheer coverage and isn’t heavy at all. It blends it really nicely and doesn’t clog up your pores. For my overall needs, I get great coverage with it and love how light & airy it feels on my skin.

Both of these products are “Must-Haves” in my beauty bag! In the photo above I am wearing both of them along with some Mary Kay mascara and eye shadow that I reviewed a few weeks ago. All of their cosmetics work beautifully with one another.

Head on over to Mary Kay and take a look around. While you are there you can use their consultant locator to find a consultant near you or you can request home business information if you are interested in joining Mary Kay.

This seems like a good concealer. I don’t see any dark shadows or bags under your eyes in the photo. it can’t every hard to find a good concealer.

  2. I do really well with a pink cream concealer. I don’t use much, just dab it on with my finger and it really lasts and works well with my skin tone.

It is really hard to find a good concealer. Often they don’t match or make you break out worse since you are using it on sensitive areas like undereyes and breakouts. I will have to give this a try.

  4. I absolutely love their concealer i think many other women would love this.
