Frida’s Fruit Fiesta Game

** 2014 Holiday Gift Guide **

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Educational Insights based out of Southern California. Educational Insights is the manufacturer of playful products with serious educational value, including subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. Their products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that children love to learn when you make that learning experience fun!

For our review we were sent the new Frida’s Fruit Fiesta Game to try out for all of you. This game is for children ages 4 and up, and for 2-4 players. It comes nicely packaged in an adorable storage box and all of the game instructions are printed directly on the box. I love that, nothing to lose!

Frida's Fruit Game

Game Objective: It’s lunchtime in the rainforest, and Frida is collecting fruity letters for her little ones! Spin the letter spinners, search your nest card for a match, grab the matching fruit bowl with the Frida Squeezer and place it in your nest. Find four fruit bowls in a row first and you win, but look out for the monkey, he’ll feast on your fruits!

How to Play: Spin all three letter spinners, look out for the monkey! Scan your nest card for a letter that matches one that you spun. Search the rainforest for the fruit bowl with the matching letter and use the Frida Squeezer to pick it up. Place the fruit bowl on the matching letter on your nest card. Place four fruit bowls in a row and you win the game!

Frida's Fun Fruit Fiesta Game

Our Thoughts: Wow, what a super cute game for the little ones to play. We sat down one evening with our 5 year old grand daughter to play the new Frida’s Fruit Fiesta Game and had a blast! Even as adults, we enjoyed playing this game with her…so if you have little ones, this game would be great for family game night!

The game is really easy to set up and once you get rolling, the game play goes by pretty quickly. With the 3 of us playing it took about 25 minutes to play…but we goofed off a lot too, so perhaps you can play it even quicker.

I love that this game is a great way to teach the little ones how to recognize letters of the alphabet, improves their hand-to-eye coordination, how to play together as a team and of course, teaches good sportsmanship too. We had a blast playing it and look forward to playing it again with the Princess when she visits.

You can purchase the Educational Insights Frida’s Fruit Fiesta Game directly from Amazon at a really great price. We love this children’s game and think it makes a great Christmas gift for any child on your gift-giving list!
