Play-Doh Diggin’ Rigs Boomer the Fire Truck

Play-Doh Diggin' Rigs Boomer the Fire TruckNow that it is the end of September, I am already starting to pick up holiday gifts for my friends and family. I am starting early this year and I am hoping to be completely done with my holiday shopping before December 5th. How about you, have you started yet?

Anyway, I have a 5 year old god son who loves to play with Play-Doh and he is also a big fan of Tonka Chuck & Friends. This next toy that I am going to feature for all of you is just perfect for little boys ages 3 and up.

The great folks over at Hasbro sent me the Play-Doh Diggin’ Rigs Boomer the Fire Truck to review for all of you. The play set comes with the Boomer Fire Truck and 2 plastic tubs of Play-Doh. In addition, there are some smaller accessories that are included like the cab book mold, plastic fire ax and 2 stampers to make the set totally interactive with the Play-Doh.

Basically the child uses the Play-Doh to build a scene. They shape bricks & pretend fires with the book molds and then press out Play-Doh water (through the fire truck) to save the day. Super fun!

I gave this set to “C” a few weeks ago when I was babysitting him and the Princess “G”. The two of them love anything that has to do with Play-Doh so I knew this set would keep them busy for hours…and it did! They worked really well together making and setting up their “fire” scene and then riding in to save the day with Boomer the Fire Truck which is a really nice size. It is NO dainty truck! All of the little accessories store directly onto the fire truck except the 2 plastic tubs of Play-Doh.

I just love Hasbro and all of the toys and games that they make. I remember buying lots of Hasbro items when Jenelle was a little one and now that I am a grandmother, I am buying Hasbro toys & games all over again.

This Play-Doh Diggin’ Rigs Boomer the Fire Truck is a fabulous item! It is definitely one you should add to your shopping list this holiday season.

Hasbro makes wonderful toys and I love Play-Doh. They are making better and better ways to use Play-Doh. This fire truck is very cute.
