Family Fun at the Mini Golf Course

Family Fun at the Mini Golf CourseWow, it is hard to believe how quickly this year has flown by! It seems like yesterday that Summer had just arrived but sadly, it has become a memory.

I am not ready to let Summer go just yet and wanted to share this photo with all of you that I took of Gia a few weeks ago when we took her to play miniature golf.

My husband and I are BIG fans of mini golf and have played miniature golf at over 100+ golf courses here on the east coast. It is a game that we just love playing together. We have passed our love for the game onto our little grand daughter.

On this particular day she was as pleased as punch because she finally got her “first hole in one”. She was doing the happy dance and we rewarded her with a nice ice cream cone afterwards. She was so proud of herself & we were proud of her!

Perhaps one of these days, we will build & own our own mini golf course! Well, we can at least DREAM! Do you like to play mini golf? Are you any good at it? Favorite places to play?

  1. Cute, cute, cute! It’s wonderful that you have an activity you enjoy and can share with your granddaughter, one that she obviously enjoys, as well. And a hole in one–wow! 🙂

Mini golf is not for me, though. My childhood memories of vacation-time mini-golf excursions is not of fun but of being under pressure to do it well and to do it fast so as not to hold up anybody else. Not exactly a way to nurture a love of the game. Oh, well.

I can see how pleased your granddaughter feels . I used to love to play miniature golf , but I haven’t played ii in years. I was quite good at it and had a lot of fun.

  3. Mini golf is fun with the family, especially cause the kids appreciate it so much more. We love to go where they have go karts too and batting cages.

Cute and fun…your little golfer! Oh, mini golf! What warm, fun, family memories. We used to play a lot when the kids were little. It was a sport we all seemed to b equal at and have fun doing. My son is competitive and liked to be the scorekeeper. While my daughter was a long golfer in the making…not in quality but strength. Her balls tended to go flying. Great times and memories. I will have to take my grand kids.

Gia is so cute! I took my son to play miniature golf all the time! He loved it and so did my daughter. Summer has gone so fast and now we are into October! Now we like to go to the movies and eat out afterwards.
