I was sent a full-size 6.7 fl. oz. bottle of the HairMax for den•si•ty Shampoo for this review. This shampoo is sulfate-free with a low pH. The shampoo gently exfoliates the scalp & removes build-up of sebum, styling products and environmental pollutants, leaving your hair & scalp deeply cleansed & refreshed.

The shampoo is made out of a synergistic blend of botanicals & anti-oxidants which helps to improve your scalp & hair health. To use, just wet your hair, massage into your hair & scalp and then rinse.

I am 67 years old and my hair has really thinned down and as you can see from the photo…it is dry and turning gray. As soon as this shampoo arrived, I started using it and had great results. If you are looking for a highly fragranced shampoo, this one is not for you. It has a slight clean & fresh fragrance…like an ocean breeze.

Over the past 2 1/2 weeks my hair has dramatically changed. I don’t see any new hair growth at all but I can tell you that my hair is no longer dull or brassy looking. It is shiny, vibrant and silky smooth. In addition, this shampoo does not weigh your hair down or make it look greasy. Your hair looks clean and fresh.

I am going to continue using the shampoo and I am excited to see what kind of results I have once I finish the bottle. So far, I am really impressed and would recommend that you give it a try.

The HairMax for den•si•ty Collection is available at ULTA stores nationwide starting in the Spring of 2014.

I am 52 and my hair is sooo much thinner than it was in even my 40s. Partly because of age and partly because of Lupus and medications. Now that I am on a cancer med to treat it, I am losing it even faster. Not sure if it would help me with hair growth, but I would settle for what I have looking healthier.

  2. I’m 2 years younger than you and have the same problems with my hair. Please write an update after you’ve been using it for longer.

Your hair looks very nice in the photo. I am curious if you see less thinning out as the weeks go by. I am lucky that I don’t yet have a lot of thinning places – just a little on the forehead. since I prefer a more g=fragrant shampoo I guess this is not for me, unless I develop other problems.

  4. That’s a good price combined with the Ulta discount coupons. Hope it works for you. My hair is thinning too and seeing some grey. Oh well, thank goodness for great hair products.

I hope you do an update on this with later results. Great, honest review. My daughter has always had fine, thin hair, but, since her illness, she has lost even more. It is started to thicken back up some, but I know she would love to try this. You want to make sure the products you use won’t hurt your hair and will make it look great. This sounds like a winner. Thanks.
