How to Choose a Professional Ceramic Flat Iron

karmin g3 salon pro https://twoclassychics.comThere are times I really hate my hair and one of those times is about 1 week past my missed hair appointment. I try and set the date for my hair cut at about 5 weeks. Any time after that, my hair is so over grown, it is hard to style. I hate that overgrown mess that I end up with. No style and flat hair. YUCK! That is when I pull out my professional ceramic flat iron.

I was thinking the other day about flat irons. There are so many on the market to choose from that it can be hard to tell what is the big difference between them. Can a ceramic flat iron from the drug store be much different from a professional ceramic flat iron that you get from a beauty supply store or direct from the manufacturer? The answer is YES.

I have used flat irons that come from the discount store before and what I got was hot hair that ended up damaged. You can tell that the plates were not top quality so when applying them to my hair, they caused more damage over the long run than a high quality iron. They were heavy and hard to use and the tugging through my hair freaked me out. I just knew my hair was frying!

Here is what I found with the ceramic flat irons I get that are made for professional use, like the Karmin G3 Salon Pro.

* Smooth, heavy duty Tourmaline ceramic plates for soft shiny hair with no pulling or yanking
* Long Swivel Cord for easy use
* Temperature setting for every hair type
* Slim Handle
* Easy to maneuver – not heavy or bulky in your hands
* Fast to heat up – under 1 minute
* Auto Shut off
* Beautiful Storage bag with detachable heat mat
* 3 year warranty!

All of these quality’s make a professional iron the choice for me. Plus my hair is full of body, bounce and shine with no damage. I need that when my hair is too long and unmanageable. To me, it is worth the additional cost to protect my hair. I only have a few virtues and I love my hair too much to purposely damage it with irons that are questionable.

You can purchase the Karmin G3 Salon Professional Ceramic Flat Iron, Black directly from Amazon for a really great price. You’ll love this professional flat iron!

    I have not need to use flat irons , but my daughter-in-law was looking for a good one. I shall relay this information to her. It is worth the money in order not to damage your hair. Your hair looks nice in the photo.

  2. I’ve tried plenty of them. Auto shut-off would be nice for those days I accidentally leave it on in a hurry to do my hair and leave the house without being late for work.

    Time to invest in a really good flat iron like Karmin G3. I paid $10 for my cheapo one at the drugstore, and you can tell by my hair! You DO get what you pay for!

    I once tried a flat iron as I have always struggled with my thick wavy hair. I found it bulky and it fried my hair as you talked about. I never knew there were better ones…thanks for the reco – I will try again with a quality iron like the one you reviewed!

  5. I only discovered the flat iron a few years ago I have no idea why I haven’t been using one years ago. I always used to curl my hair and my hair is naturally curly so I just went with that. I had no idea that it would look good flat ironed until my hair stylist used her flat oron on me one day and I loved the look. I want her flat iron but her costs $200.00 and I just couldn’t afford that so I got the best cheap one that I could get at the time and it works but not as good as hers. Great post here that you have written I do not want to damage my hair with a cheap flat iron. I am going to try to save up and get a professional flat iron as soon as I can. Have a great rest of the holiday weekend. God Bless our Troops.

    Thank you for this post. My daughter has been searching. She has fine, thin hair that doesn’t want to mind. Curlers for volume won’t stay in her hair and curls at all don’t last. She has taken to smoothing it under and that looks nice. Recently we have been looking at different flat irons and was wanting people’s thoughts and suggestions. I’m glad you found a product that works so well for you.
