I love that this sugar cookie is a drop cookie – no chilling first and no rolling. This then is such an easy recipe and homemade cookies always taste the best.

It’s great to have a good sugar cookie recipe. They’re classic and homemade is the best. Plus, the dough can be very versatile. It’s fun to mold sugar cookie dough around a rolo, Hershey’s Kiss, or mini candy bar. They are great to make with kids to cut into shapes and decorate. Hope you get to do this with your granddaughter.

I love sugar cookies, we all do. But most recipes for them requires chilling and then rolling out the dough. Something I just cannot get into doing. Love this one though, no rolling required! It reminds me of one my grandmother used to make. Yummy.
