Living in the north east means every woman needs a good pair of winter boots. Our winters are harsh, cold and at times…very wet with freezing rain, sleet or snow. For many of us, we like our winter boots to be super comfortable, practical and fashionable all at the same time.

Let me introduce you to the company called Khombu who sells women’s, men’s and kid’s boots! You can find all kinds of boots from ankle boots to knee-high boots. If you are looking for a great pair of boots this season, check out all of the ones that Khombu has to offer.

Black Boots for Women

The company sent my fashionable 29 year old daughter the “Mavis” style women’s boots that are available in a pretty stone or black color. Jenelle selected the black which will go with anything she may be wearing.

The uppers are made out of genuine suede/leather and the inside of the boots are lined in faux fur. The outsoles are all man-made and have a nice rugged tread on them to help prevent slipping and sliding during wet weather.

Black Suede Winter Boots

There is a zipper that runs almost the entire length of the boot which makes them really easy to get on and off. They have a rounded toe box area to keep your toes nice and comfortable. One of the things Jenelle likes about these boots is that they have “gunmetal” colored hardware in the form of small studs and a buckle.

Jenelle has been wearing the boots since receiving them to work and out for casual wear. She states that they are super comfortable on her feet and that they are not heavy at all. Some winter boots are so heavy that they feel like lead on your feet but she says these are really comfortable and can be worn all day long.

Black Suede Boots

In addition, she likes that she can wear her pants tucked in, out over the boots or she can wear the boots with a skirt or dress. Versatile for sure! Finally, she likes the slightly-oversized zipper pull which really makes them easy to zip up and zip down. Most boots these days you have to fumble around with a way too small zipper but not these.

    What a selection of boots 🙂 I’d go for the Eskimow Low (black) because after the initial snowfall (high boots needed) you then have the week of slush and low snow so these Eskimows would be perfect.

    I really like the Dark Brown Saturn 2 boots. They look very warm and very cozy. Boots are the best thing about cold weather!

    The Moon Dance Low (Beige) Boots were so good=looking. They are fur-lined and keep your feet warm to -2- degrees.

    I would love the Women’s Toronto boot in Black Style #BW1589, I love the style of these boots and the heel is the perfect height plus they can be worn in snow or rain since they are waterproof, I think they are awesome

    It would be really hard to choose just one, but one I particularly like is the Moon Dance Low boot. It looks like it would easy to slip into and out of, which is an important feature for me.
