Buddha’s Herbs Natures Vitamins and Herbal Teas

I love a good cup of tea when he’s a chill in the air. Herbal tea is my go-to most of the time, especially after 4 pm. I don’t drink herbals just for the flavor and lack of caffeine, but for healing properties, too. Back in the day, herbs were how we medicated ourselves when needed and usually without the side effect of modern medicine. As often as I can, I’ll reach for alternatives to modern medicine. I’m not a doctor and don’t play one on TV, but I know I feel a difference when I use herbs either with or in place of prescription medicine. I was asked to do a review of some herbal teas so I was very excited to try some!

Buddha’s Herbs believes in the power of nature. Since, the company has manufactured and distributed a variety of herbal teas and supplements designed to enhance health as nature intended. All products are manufactured at GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant facilities using ingredients sourced from the US, Europe, and China. The majority of the herbs used in their formulas fall under the FDA’s GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) designation and are independently tested for efficacy, purity and proper dissolution. These are signs of a quality operation.
Buddha’s Herbs Green Tea
When Buddha’s Herbs asked if I’d be interested in an assortment of their herbal tea, I figured I’d give it a go. I needed to pick up some more chamomile anyway. The NY-based company offers a wide variety of teas and herbal supplements for general and specific needs.

A few days after the initial email, a box arrived. Inside was an eclectic mix that made me smile. The Green Tea with Herbs ($10.99/2 pack) has a traditional green tea flavor enhanced with organic chamomile, organic thyme, and organic peppermint leaves. It was a perfect substitute for our usual morning coffee. Natural Slim Herbal Tea ($10.49/2 pack) is not a laxative, but is a blend of metabolism-boosting green tea, rosemary leaves, oregano, and lemon peels. It makes an excellent pre- or post-workout drink and tastes great hot or cold. Natural Raspberry Leaf ($10.79/2 pack) is a delicious, fruity 100% raspberry leaf herbal tea for women’s health. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt the guys. Pure St. John’s Wort Tea ($10.99/2 pack) is 100 % pure St John Wort Leaf and Flower. The flavor is more medicinal than the others, but that’s to be expected. My favorite, the Organic Chamomile ($10.99/2 pack) is the best I’ve had to date. Each box has 20 “eco filter” bags wrapped in airtight envelopes.Buddha's Herbs Herbal Teas
