Palmolive Soft Touch with Aloe Dish Liquid

September 4, 2013 by Shelly

palmolive with aloe

I do a lot of cooking for my family and cook at least 2 out of 3 meals a day for my family. Toss in my passion for baking and well, you get the drift…always a sink full of dirty dishes!

With that said, I do use my dishwasher most of the time, but there are a few times every week when I hand wash dishes. Sometimes I hand wash them when I only have a few to do or I will hand wash them when I use my china and crystal serving dishes because I definitely don’t want those busted up in my dishwasher.

Recently I was sent a bottle of the Palmolive Soft Touch with Aloe Dish Liquid to review for all of you. As a bonus, I was sent a bottle of matching green nail polish so that I could give myself a manicure and pedicure.

palmolive aloe 21

This formulation of Palmolive dish liquid includes the addition of aloe which is perfect for those of us with dry skin. My hands take a beating and are always rough and dry. The dish liquid is ultra concentrated so a little bit will go a long way! It is tough on grease but yet soft & gentle on your hands.

I filled up my sink and added a few drops of this new Palmolive Soft Touch with Aloe to my water and then got busy hand washing some dishes. One of the things I like about this dish liquid is that it makes plenty of bubbles but doesn’t over do it. Next, it has a nice clean scent to it…nothing perfume smelling at all.

I washed several dinner plates, glasses, a frying pan, sauce pan, baking dish and several utensils using this dish liquid and everything came out sparkling clean. I had a greasy frying pan from frying up bacon and wow…it did a remarkable job at removing all of that grease! Yay! My glassware that I washed was spotless and streak-free.pedicure with green toes

I am really impressed with this formula of the Palmolive Dish Liquid and yes indeed, my hands did feel a lot softer after I had washed the dishes. Wow, that is a fabulous little bonus…isn’t it? I think so! After I was done doing the dishes…I gave myself a nice foot soak, foot massage and a pedicure!

A difficult challenge for me are my ceramic fry pans. I love them and they do need to soak in the sink a bit before handwashing. I turn around and someone (I love) has dropped something into the water and dang if the fork or whatever hasn’t chipped thru the ceramic coating. I have this issue with my ceramic knives also. Some people don’t get that something so sharp can be fragile if you cut into bone with them.
