Earth’s Living Drinkable Clay promotes healing both inside and outside of the body for us and our pets. It’s a times old solution for healing, detox, and general skin and body care.

Going as natural as possible is good for more than the environment. Dumping as many toxic chemicals as possible helps my family and me breathe easier and save money. Switching to homemade, natural cleaning products has taken 30% off of our budget. Hubby wasn’t sure about the change at first, but showing him them money made him recognize and embrace it. All else fails, show him the money. The savings on health and beauty products are significant, too. I mix my own deodorant and toothpaste and use organic coconut oil on my hair and skin. Hubby calls me a total hippie and I can’t argue with that. I love that I can save cash and save the environment.

Those savings are not the only reason I reach for natural goodness. Natural alternatives do not have the same side effects – if any – as commercial products. They don’t for me, anyway. Most of the time the family goes along with me and my hippie ways, especially after noticing the benefits of natural product use. Hopefully soon they’ll join me in the use of Earth’s Living Drinkable Clay.

I can hear you now, “Uh, so you eat dirt?” Technically, I drink it, but yes. I won’t mislead you. I wasn’t sure about it at first. I used to make mud pies and not eat them like any other kid.

I used clay-based products in the past but did not consider consuming it until Earth’s Living contacted me. I think it was a sign. Earth’s Living Drinkable Clay is pure calcium bentonite green clay which can be used by humans and pets internally and externally for healing. Acne, age spots, allergies, bug bites, blisters, cold sores, diaper rash, eczema, hives, hemorrhoids, Poison Ivy and Poison Oak, rashes, ringworm, shingles, and other skin issues can be soothed with calcium bentonite green clay. I held it for a few days before jumping into drinking it.Earth’s Living Drinkable Clay

I started with topical use. I used it after coming into contact with Poison Oak while doing yard work a few weeks ago. I mixed the clay with water to form a paste and applied it to the rash. The itching was reduced immediately and the rash healed quickly. I also used the clay in my toothpaste recipe because it is believed to strengthen and whiten teeth, ease toothache pain, and fight gum disease. The clay did not affect the taste at all. I’ll let you know how well the addition worked after my next checkup.

The main reason I jumped on the chance to try Earth’s Living Clay is the host of reported benefits for intestinal health and arthritis pain. Calcium bentonite use is said to help reduce inflammation, increase pH balance, detoxify, and cleanse the system. I’m all for those and figure the addition of this natural solutions couldn’t hurt. Learning that there are no reported side effects when combined with my current prescriptions took away any reason to pause. I’ve been drinking it for a week and have had zero heartburn or indigestion. That alone makes me want to keep it a part of my daily regimen. It’s a four-to-one ratio of clay to water. And the flavor isn’t bad, just a little gritty. I drink my ounce first thing in the morning, follow it with a glass of water, and go on with my day. It’s too soon to notice any benefits, so ask me how my arthritis pain is in another week. And ask me again in a month.

Earth’s Living Drinkable Clay is available in plastic or glass jars and resealable pouches. Ooooo-boy. I’ve taken some different things for my health, but like you I’d have to start slow. I understand clay is an excellent facial cleanser – I’d start there, then do the toothpaste and then start adding a bit to my morning smoothie and build up from there.

I am not sure how I feel about drinking clay, but I too would love to know if it helps your arthritis. That would make me be quite willling to try it.

  5. I’ll be interested in how it works for your arthritis in a month or so of using it. Glad to know it doesn’t interact with other medicines since I take a few different ones for my RA.

  6. Oh wow – I don’t know what to say about this one…I don’t know if I can wrap my head around this product, but at least it’s healthy!
