Easter is in a few days and Father’s Day is just around the corner. On top of that, I am sure you all know a few men who’s Birthdays are coming up too! We were recently sent 3 full-size men’s products to review for all of you. Since I am not a dude, I had to enlist my hubby Sam to do the review for us. Before I tell you about the products he tried out, let me tell you about his grooming habits. Hubby has dark brown hair, so shaving daily is a must for him or that 5 o’clock shadow hits him pretty hard. In addition, he is 51 years old, so he has aging skin that needs some moisturizing help.
First up, the “Daily Washout” which is a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner that sells for $8.99 per bottle. It’s made with barley protein, vitamin B5 and Zinc PCA to help energize, de-grease and strengthen your hair. Hubby gets up very early in the morning to get ready for work and he always uses a 2-in-1 product just to save time. He loved the light manly scent to this product and said it lathers up really nicely. More important, he loves that it doesn’t weigh-down his thinning hair and it doesn’t leave it greasy at all.
Next is the “Shave the Males” which is a moisturizing shave cream that sells for $9.99. This shaving cream is very luxurious according to the hubby and lathers up nicely on your face. What he really liked about this shave cream is that he was able to get a close shave and it left his face feeling well-moisturized after he used it. I have to admit, his facial skin does look a lot more moisturized these days!
Finally, the “Soothe The Shaven Beast” which is an after save moisturizing lotion that sells for $7.99 per tube. This after-shave lotion is really simple to use and you simply apply it to your face after shaving. What hubby really loves about this product is that there is no alcohol in it…which means, it didn’t sting his face at all! Yay! Furthermore, due to it’s moisturizing properties, it has really helped to kick up the moisture level in his skin.
Overally, hubby enjoyed using all 3 of these men’s grooming products and will continue to use them all. They all performed exactly as they were meant to do and didn’t irritate his sensitive skin at all. He gives them a big 2-thumbs up!
