Back in October of 2012, I had the great pleasure of introducing all of you to the company named ClosetMaid. If you are not familiar with this company, they sell all kinds of great things to help you get your closets organized, laundry rooms organized, great items for kitchen organization and so much more!
For today’s review, ClosetMaid sent me their Pantry Closet to review for all of you. As you recall, we just moved into our new house back in early January and even though my kitchen has been completely remodeled, it is lacking on cabinet space. I wanted a pantry closet that wasn’t too small, nor too large. This pantry closet that I received from ClosetMaid is exactly the size I needed. It measures 59 1/2″ high, 24″ wide by 12 1/5″ in depth.
This pantry closet comes in 4 wonderful color choices: white, alder (shown to the left), espresso and black. It is a very sturdy pantry closet made from laminated wood, very easy to keep clean (just wipe it down when needed). There are 2 adjustable/movable shelves and 2 fixed shelves.
Regarding shipping purposes, everything comes packages in one large box and it’s a heavy box at that. (I couldn’t lift it, but hubby had no issues lifting the box). Inside the box you will find the instruction booklet, the hardware and all of the pieces to the pantry closet. You will need to supply a screwdriver and a hammer.
Hubby spent about 10 minutes separating out all of the parts and reading the instructions. He then got busy assembling our new pantry closet which was a really easy process, nothing complicated at all. Overall, he spent a total of 30 minutes on it which really impressed me.
Those holes are so you can customize the height of those 2 adjustable shelves.
Once he was done, we took it out to our kitchen and he used the wall bracket to attach it to our wall. This adds stability to it and you won’t ever have to worry about it tipping over from weight. We then decided on the height of our 2 adjustable shelves and he installed them to my preference. Once that was completed, I loaded it up with my food items that I wanted to store inside it.
I am really impressed with how sturdy this pantry closet is and I love it’s sleek design, nothing cluttery look or extravagant about it. It works perfectly in my coastal looking kitchen and it doesn’t take up a lot of space! You can really get a lot of your canned goods, jarred goods and boxed goods within this pantry closet! Yeah for that!
This pantry closet can be used all over your home! I can see it being used in your laundry room, family room, kitchen, garage, basement, attic, you name it! Trust me, it’s a quality piece and guess what? It is super affordable at only $80.00 each! I want more myself!!!
