My name is Shelly and I admit, I am a chocolate addict! I have been addicted to fine artisan chocolates for the past 20+ years and I have no intention on ever breaking that addiction! Nope, not ever!
If you are like me and love delicious tasting chocolates, well…look no further! Let me introduce you all to JinJu Chocolates! The company is owned by master chocolatier Jin Caldwell who is an award-winning pastry chef who left the corporate world in 2011 to start her own gourmet chocolate business.
When you shop at JinJu Chocolates you will find dark chocolate caramels, mouth-watering truffles, chocolate jewelry, chocolate gifts and more! Just browsing through their online store makes my heart go pitter-patter with delight!
For the review, I received the JinJu Signature Valentine’s Day Collection which contains 32 pieces of artisan chocolate, packaged in a beautiful bi-level gift box. Inside the gift box are 16 pieces of bonbons from the Akoya Collection and 16 pieces of Tahitian Vanilla Infused Caramels.
The Akoya Collection Bonbons come in 6 yummy flavors: Berry Mascarpone, Vanilla Dream, Tropical Fruit, Key Lime and Lemon White Chocolate. The Berry Mascarpone is a summer berry jelly layered with mascarpone creme genache in Swiss milk chocolate and was my hubby’s favorite! The Tropical Fruit is a passion fruit & mango with a hint of vanilla in milk chocolate and that one was my favorite out of the 5 different bonbons. I have to admit, all 5 were delicious and I would eat all of them any given day of the week!
The Tahitian Vanilla infused caramels are covered in 64% smooth dark chocolate and sprinkled with a hint of pink Himalayan Sea Salt. Usually I am not a huge caramel fan but these caramels have totally converted me into loving them! The caramel is smooth, creamy and very decadent! I plopped one of these caramels into my morning coffee the other day and oh my gosh…what a dreamy drink!
To put it frankly, this box of artisan chocolates didn’t last long here in my home! They were delicious and I would LOVE to have another dozen boxes of JinJu chocolates sitting here at my home at all times! Seriously, they are THAT good! Head on over to JinJu Chocolates today and take a look around…you will be glad that you did!
