World Vision Handcarved Serving Spoons Review and Giveaway
I am so excited to share with you today’s review and giveaway. I have lived in a 3rd world country and enjoyed the local artisans beautiful talents when it comes to arts and craftmanship. Today, millions of women and men are attempting to raise money for their families and villages by crafting goods and selling them. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization that is dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide so those living in poverty can provide for their families. World Vision serves all people in over 100 countries across the world and help support local artisans by offering their crafted products for sale.

I was thrilled to be asked to help spread the word about the products for sale and about their cause. Each purchase/donation you make provides income for that crafter and their family. I was sent a lovely set of hand carved wooden serving spoons for review. This wooden serving spoons and the gift bag is handmade in Kenya. Each set is unique as they are made by hand and they are made to benefit orphans of the Kamba tribe in Kenya.
I love these spoons! They are made of a lovely hard wood and they are beautifully crafted. These are just the right size for a lovely salad serving set and I have the perfect bowl to match! The wood is so lovely and I love the carved handles. They are smooth and a treasure to use.
It is easy to make a donation to World Vision and receive a gift like this in exchange. You can also choose to support them by donating chickens, goats and other farm animals or even clothing and medicines. Making a donation in the name of someone else would make a fabulous gift for someone who has everything. Think Birthday, Anniversary, or a thoughtful Thank you Gift. You can choose to donate specifically to a disaster like Hurricane Sandy or to a specific need in the USA or worldwide. It is very cool how they have it set up. Stop by and see how you can help someone today.
