For the past 20+ years I have suffered with chronic pain so to say that I don’t get a good night’s sleep on a regular basis…would indeed be a very true statement! I often have a hard time falling asleep, staying asleep and by the time the alarm rings…my neck, shoulder and back…aches! ugh!
Well today, I would like to talk to you all about the fabulous Mediflow Waterbase Bed Pillow that I was recently sent to review.
The waterbase pillow is designed to fit you perfectly. You simply fill the water base as directed, adjusting the amount of water to the degree of support that you need. You can customize the pillow to be soft, medium or firm. The pillow will provide outstanding cervical and head support while responding to changing sleep positions. Each pillow comes with a 1 year warranty covering manufacturing defects.
The waterbase design has been clinically shown to reduce morning neck pain intensity, increase pain relief and improve your quality of sleep. The clinical study also showed that participants fell asleep faster, woke up fewer times during the night and overall their quality of sleep was better. The pillow is made up of 3 major layers:
* A deep cushion of hypoallergenic polyester fiber rests over the water layer for luxurious comfort.
* The thermal insulator surrounds the water layer.

My Thoughts: I have suffered with neck and back pain for several years now and have tried many different bed pillows which helped for awhile and then…well, back to normal pain. It seems like I can’t find the PERFECT bed pillow for me…until now!
I was sent the Jumbo Size Mediflow Waterbase Pillow to review for you and it meaures 20″ by 28″ in size. It will fit into standard and queen pillow cases. The pillow came with an instructional sheet and a funnel. After reading over the instructions, I had hubby fill my pillow up with some water. I am the type of person who needs a “medium” support pillow so over the next day or two, we gradually added water until I had the “fill” level just right for my comfort level.
For the past 2 1/2 weeks I have been sleeping with my new bed pillow and let me tell you…it’s made a HUGE improvement in the quality of my sleep. Is my sleep now perfect, no! However, I feel that my sleep has been improved by at least 70%. Once I got my water level perfectly set to my comfort level it did indeed become the perfect bed pillow for me! I absolutely LOVE this bed pillow!
