Two Classy Chics 2012 Holiday Gift Guide!
Today we have a great addition to our 2012 Holiday Gift Guide and I am sure that every home owner on your holiday gift-giving list would love a new outdoor solar water fountain! This great product comes to us from All Solar Fountain and they sell wonderful solar water fountains, bird bath solar fountains, pond solar fountains, classic outdoor bird baths and all of the accessories to go along with them.
I have always wanted a solar-powered water fountain but could not have them at our old townhouse. Now that we have our own home, I finally got one! As some of you know, I suffer with chronic pain and my doctor actually recommended a water fountain to me as the sound of water can help reduce stress, help to calm the body and definitely relaxes you.
The great folks over at All Solar Fountain sent me their Antique Brown Solar Cascade Fountain to review for all of you. I was super excited to see it once my box showed up, I literally had the box opened within seconds of it being handed to me. Yeah, I was like a little kid in a candy store for sure!
Description of Fountain (from their site):
- Fountain is made of ceramic with an antique brown finish.
- Solar panel has a 10 ft cable and mounting kit. Panel needs to be placed in direct sunlight while fountain may be placed elsewhere.
- Sun provides direct power to panel and 6 volt pump; power is not stored.
- Pump continuously recirculates water from bottom basin to top bowl.
- Optional AC adaptor can be purchased in order to use fountains indoors.
- 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
- Panel dimensions: 6”W 8”H
- Fountain dimensions: 17”L 15”W 21”H / bottom basin is 15” diameter
I carefully unpacked everything from the shipping box and everything arrived in perfect condition. Since my hubby was going to be the one assembling it, I left him read the instructions on assembly. He said EVERYTHING is really simple and easy to understand.
The next day when the sun came out, I had hubby outside (bright and early at 7am) setting up my new water fountain. I decided to temporarily place it on our large front porch which gets a lot of daylight sun. Once our backyard landscaping is done next year, I will be moving it out there near our gazebo.
Within 5 to 10 minutes, everything was in place and the water was gently flowing down my new solar water fountain! Oh my gosh…I was doing the “happy dance” all over my front porch! Yeah!!! I pulled up a chair and sat beside it as I enjoyed my morning coffee. Isn’t it pretty? I think so!!!
Everything about this water fountain is high-quality and extremely well-made! The ceramic fountain bowls & pitcher are thick and weighty, just the way they should be. It’s a really nice size and will show up well sitting on your deck, patio, porch or out in your yard. You can even buy an AC adapter if you want to place it inside.
Overall, I am in LOVE with my new solar water fountain! Almost every day, I go outside and sit near it while having a cup of coffee or a cup of cocoa. I am going to “cry” when I have to bring it indoors soon because the snow & ice is coming to PA, soon! That’s okay though, I know I can enjoy it for many months come next spring & summer!
