Fall is here and as each week goes by, it gets colder and colder here in Pennsylvania. During the Fall and Winter seasons, I make a lot of homemade soups and stews for my family’s lunches and dinners. They are always “filling” and a great way to warm up after a cold & chilly day.

My Thoughts: I love these recipes! Each one includes an ingredient list and almost all of the ingredients you see being used in this cookbook are everyday ingredients that you can find easily. Alongside the recipes you will find a few preparation or serving tips which is always an added bonus! The foodie photos in this cookbook are mouth-watering!
From the cookbook, we made the Smoky Peanut & Chicken Soup recipe last weekend and it was super delicious! I loved the tip to NOT use natural peanut butters when making this soup because they don’t blend well into the soup. The soup serves 4 to 6 people so it’s perfect for a family dinner. From start to finish, it took me less than 1 hour to make and have on my family’s dinner table. They all raved and raved about this soup and want me to make it again soon! Yeah!!! I love making new foods for the family and I love it even more when they “praise” me for a job well done! LOL
You can purchase this wonderful cookbook directly from Robert Rose and it would make a great gift for any mom, grandmom or foodie on your holiday shopping list!
