Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Educational Insights based out of Southern California. Educational Insights is the manufacturer of playful products with serious educational value, including subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games. Their products are designed by seasoned educators and parents who know that children love to learn when you make that learning experience fun!
My Review: The great folks over at Educational Insights sent us their “Magic Moves Electronic Wand” to review for all of you. This item is made for children ages 3 and up and requires 3 AAA batteries which are included!
Description: Shake it up! Work it out! Magic Moves is all about…Movin’! 90 Fun, creative movements and 26 different musical tunes, each with it’s own colorful light show, get the little ones up and keeps them moving, exercising their bodies, creativity and listening skills. There is a nice little instruction booklet packaged with the product that gives you ideas on how to use it, along with some tips.
Some of the creative movements your child will hear, includes:
* Stomp like a dinosaur
* Zoom like a jet
* Wiggle like a worm
* Leap like a lion
* Hop like a frog
* etc, etc, etc.
Our Thoughts: Our little grand daughter is almost 3 1/2 years old. Right now she is into everything that has to do with Princesses, Ballerinas, Mermaids and Dora the Explorer. I knew when this product arrived that she would immediately love it because every little Princess needs a Magic Electronic Wand!
Right out of the package, this product is ready to go. I love that there is a little booklet include that gives you instructions on how to use it & some tips to go along with it. There is an on/off button on the back of the wand and on the front of the wand is a “green” play button and a “red” repeat button. They are perfectly sized buttons for little toddler hands.
The spheres on both the top and bottom of the wand light up as your child is playing with it which is really cool! The sounds that come from the wand telling your child what moves to do, are crystal clear and there is some fun upbeat music too! We have often played the “How does a cow move” or “How does an Elephant walk” game with Princess Gia and now that game is even more fun…thanks to the Magic Moves Wand!
When I gave this wand to Princess Gia…she was immediately enjoying it. Matter of fact, for almost 2 hours straight she demonstrated all of her “fancy” moves to Pappy and I. Now that she has had this item for a week, it has become one of her favorite educationals toys! At night, she likes to lay with it in bed and make it light up! We often hear her singing to it as she is falling asleep. This has got to be one of our “favorite” products that we have ever received from Educational Insights!
