My hair is getting long again and I’m not sure what to do with it. Lately I’ve been rocking it loose or in a ponytail because it’s busy and those styles are perfect for when I need to get out of the door in a hurry. I have headbands and ponytail holders, but I love finding cute ones I can play with. Enter Bendi-Bandz from Calypso Creations. Each headband is handmade from a thin wire wrapped in cloth and that makes it versatile. Calypso Studios offered me a headband to try, I went for it. They went above and beyond a headband. They sent four Bendi-Bandz and one of their beautiful It’s a Wrap Bracelets.
My daughter peeked over my shoulder when I opened the package and ran off with the bracelet. Little thief! But you know teens – what they like, they really like. Calypso’s selection of It’s a Wrap Bracelets is wide and shoppers are sure to find something for themselves or their loved ones. Glass, metal, or clay beads, rhinestones, or gold nuggets, and crosses are available in a variety of colors and materials. Cloth, leather, and linen cords are as study as they are beautiful.
While Teen Daughter wandered off with the bracelet, she let me get first pick of the headbands. I snagged the pink Paisley and Gold Glitz Bendi-Bandz while she grabbed the blue Glitz Bendi-Band and Black Animal satin band. I have long hair and my daughter rocks a shorter style. Calypso Studios says the bands are fun and posts videos of their products in use on their Facebook and YouTube pages. The bands are lightweight and gentle on hair no matter how it’s worn. For me and my daughter, the Bendi-Bandz stayed in place all day whether worn as a headband, ponytail holder, or bracelet. Yes, I wore mine as a bracelet – just like I wear ponytail holders as bracelets when I’m running around. Why? Because you never know when you’ll need a ponytail holder and that’s how I roll.
Would I pick them up? If I needed more, I would. I’m not sure if I’d snag another headband anytime soon because I have far too many at the moment. Besides, my eyes (and teen) are focused on the Bracelets. I found a few gifts on the website as well. I’m going to follow Calypso Studios on Facebook to keep up with any new products they offer. Their fans love them and I understand why.
