I love cookbooks, matter of fact, I own over 200 cookbooks and keep them all neatly organized in my collection. Today, I am reviewing the new 101 Cozy Casseroles Cookbook by the great folks over at Gooseberry Patch. This company is a National Best-Selling Publisher so you know their cookbooks are great!

My Thoughts: This is one beautiful cookbook! I love cookbooks that feature down home recipes, not recipes with a slew of ingredients that I have never heard of and a lot of complicated preparation steps. This cookbook is definitely not that!

I love making a wide variety of casseroles for my family’s dinnertime meal and this cookbook has a very nice selection of recipes which would make great family meals and several would be nice for a romantic dinner for two. All of the ingredients are listed for you, along with easy to understand preparation instructions. The color photographs are beautiful and definitely make your mouth water!
My favorite chapter in the cookbook is the Quick-to-Fix Casseroles because these days, I am very busy with work and don’t have an hour or two to spend cooking each & every day. Last week I made their Cheesy Shrimp Casserole for dinner and my family raved and raved about it! I admit, it was delicious! Once we get moved and unpacked, I will be trying many more recipes that are in this fantastic cookbook!
