Edens Edge Country Music CD

Edens Edge Country Music CD

Today I am bringing to you a country music CD review by the up and coming country music group called Edens Edge. The CD is available for purchase starting on June 12th, 2012 and was produced by Mark Bright and Dann Huff for Big Machine Records.

The group’s members are: Hannah Blaylock (lead vocalist), Cherrill Green (harmony vocals, mandolin, banjo & guitar)  and Dean Berner (harmony vocals, guitars & dobro). Eden’s Edge possesses a unique musical blend that is deeply rooted in Country Music, Acoustic Instrumentation and pure Vocal Harmonies. The hot newcomers have garnered a lot of buzz at Country radio, have been profiled as one of Billboard’s “Artists to Watch” and were chosen as a CMT Listen Up! Artist. Just last year, they joined three major Country tours ~ Reba, Lady Antebellum & Brad Paisley.

The trio is from the great state of Arkansas and their new self-titled release CD showcases Edens Edge’s rootsy signature style on individual tracks, including the sassy new single “Too Good To Be True” and their Top 20 debut single “Amen.”

Tracklist Includes:

* Amen
* Swingin Door
* Skinny Dipin’
* Too Good To Be True
* Last Supper
* Feels So Real
* Who Am I Drinking Tonight
* Liar
* Cherry Pie
* Christ Alone

I don’t listen to Country Music too often as it just isn’t my first choice in music. With that said, my hubby does enjoy Country Music so I knew he would love listening to this new CD. We have never heard of Edens Edge before so we were pleasantly surprised (both of us) that we loved the CD!

My personal favorite song off the CD is the “Too Good To Be True” track and hubby’s favorite is “Feels So Real”. What I like about the CD is that the music is upbeat and you can certainly dance to most of it. I listened to all of the lyrics and really like the storytelling that they do with their lyrics and all of the songs can be related to your life. Matter of fact, I might have to listen to Country Music more often now as I am really enjoying this CD.

You can check out the Edens Edge web site to get a list of current tour dates and everything else that is related to the country group Edens Edge. If they come around our neck of the woods, we would certainly go to see them play!

If you are looking for some new upbeat country music to listen to, we highly suggest that you pick up the new Edens Edge CD. yeah!
