My husband and I are both work every long hours 6 days a week and lead a very busy family lifestyle. Finding time for ourselves or having a romantic date night doesn’t happen nearly enough as it should. We received 2 different Ristorante Pizzas from Dr. Oetker to review so we decided to use them for our romantic date night. Besides baking the delicious looking pizzas we spent time together chopping up fresh vegetables for a salad and sipped on some white wine while waiting for our pizzas to bake.
I set the table with one of my very best table cloths, used our white fine china and even lit 3 candles. I put a Whitney Houston CD on in the background and then we sat down to enjoy our pizzas, salads and wine. We sampled the Ristorante Mozzarella Pizza first and oh my gosh…the cheese was ooey and gooey just like we like it! The crust was crunchy and crisp but not overly hard. This pizza had a very nice taste and texture to it.
After we were done with the first one (they are pizzas for two) we sampled the Ristorante Spinaci Pizza which was our favorite of the two. The pizza sauce had a nice sweet but yet a little spicy taste to it and just like the first one…the cheese was fantastic! I love that the pizza had a moderate amount of spinach on it, they didn’t skimp on that at all! The crust was thin and crispy, not soggy. We loved it!
It was so nice to sit down in our own home and have a romantic Italian pizza dinner with one another without the kids and grand kids around. I love that within 45 minutes from start to finish we enjoyed a hot meal together. Thank you Dr. Oetker for making our date night something special.
