You all know how much I love my skin care products, but I also love makeup just as much. I haven’t done too many makeup reviews lately, so today you are going to get spoiled a bit with some lovely natural, organic cosmetics.

I was sent Benecos Maximum Volume Mascara and the Natural Eyeliner to review for your all today. I love love love eyeliner. I stopped wearing eyes shadows so many years ago since it irritated my eyes with contacts and I would rub it off anyway, so eyeliners became my thing. I was pleased that the eyeliner is a traditional size. It was a nice neutral black. Not overly deep black in color, but a soft black that can be bended and used as a shadow effect. I liked that it had good staying power. It didn’t smear off right away. With a bit of finishing powder to set, this liner will last quite a long time. And for the price, it is a great buy for an organic liner!

I was a bit nervous to use the Maximum Volume Mascara. I am a mascara snob. I have used the same one for so many years, its crazy. I have a hard time finding just the right one so when I do find one, I stick with it. But for you, I will try just about anything. With that said, the mascara comes in a little bit smaller tube than what I am used to using, so it took me a bit to get used to a smaller wand. The brush has spiral bristles and a lot of space in between them. I was not sure how well this was going to work for me.

First application went on very lightly. My heart sank a bit because I like a bit more color and umpf to my lashes. I went ahead and added the second coat. Wow! This really kicked it up. All of a sudden my lashes got nice and thick with a nice coating of color. The brush did a great job of separating the lashes and when I added more to the outer lashes, I got a nice long fringe look. Nice!

Wearing the mascara took a bit of getting used to for me. My eyes did water a bit since it was a different formula than what I was used to. It is not a waterproof mascara though LOL It did last all day and did not come off under my eyes or the like. This is formulated for sensitive eyes and it did well. Not bad! This is definitely one that I would recommend to those that are looking for an organic mascara. The price is nice too!

Both of the items I tried from Benecos today were good, solid products that I will enjoy using. I like that they are natural, organic material and that they performed just as well as chemical based products. Two Thumbs Up Benecos!!
