Rodan+ Fields Skincare Regimen

Last month I introduced Rodan and Fields to you readers. You may recognize those names as they were the creators of ProActiv. They have teamed up to bring a great product along with a business opportunity. Still dedicated to your best skincare and going beyond only helping with acne solutions.

As I said in the introduction my daughter and I tested the Rodan and Fields unblemish regimen for acne and post-acne marks. I’ve passed along the oily skin from my side of the family. While it’s very annoying, it’s also true that it has kept the wrinkles farther at bay 😉 I’m happy to report we had success with the products.

I have tried many products over the years with some results but also having them create other issues.  Not the case this time.  As to be expected there is a slight burning (for lack of a better word) feeling for the first few days of using the product. Those of us that have used an acne product understand that. It’s the reaction of our skin drying up some. However, this feeling went away and that has not been my experience with other products. A+ on that issue.

In the past I’ve had severe drying with a product regimen. Since I didn’t know what I was doing, I didn’t understand that I should have also been moisturizing. I just went with the products the other companies included in the kit. Thankfully, Rodan and Fields has put together a COMPLETE set with everything needed for success.  As a consumer I’m not the expert, I like to rely on the experts to tell me what a complete regimen should include. I feel this had a major impact on the success we had.  It also helped so that when working out our faces weren’t burning and painful. Yes I’ve had that happen before. It’s great to still be comfortable when the sweat hits my pores.

My daughters only complaint is the time it takes. She said it takes her about 10 minutes and in the morning that can really put a kick in the plans. But she also hadn’t done a true skin regimen before so her complaint is to be expected. If she got her bootie in the bathroom before her brother’s shower she wouldn’t have an issue at all 😉  It’s just a little difficult to try and get washed up and then makeup on if you only give yourself 20 minutes as a teenager. lol  As you can see, it’s not really a complaint at all, but a personal time management issue. I don’t feel that it takes a full 10 minutes, but then I’ll also multitask while I’m waiting for a step to dry. It’s what we moms do!

As you can see below, my daughter is a bit shy. lol The before and after pictures are in a 4 week time frame. With the severity of my daughters acne, the scars are still very apparent but from my experience I know they will get better with more time. Especially since breakouts are minimal now. I’m really glad we have these before and after pictures to look at and compare.

I definitely recommend this skincare regimen. If it’s this helpful with severe acne I can only imagine how great the other regimens are as well. Thank you to Jen a consultant with Rodan and Fields for the opportunity to review the products and for hosting the giveaway below!
