Your Favorite Tea on-the-go with Libre Tea Glass

Libre Tea GlassToday, I would like to introduce you to the company Libre Tea, owned by Wendy, whose journey began in 2006, when she visited China and enjoyed many tea tastings. Since then she has made it her mission to “inspire tea moments”. Libre Tea products are for health conscious, eco-friendly tea drinkers who want to enjoy tea moments on the go or at home.

My Review: I would like to offer my review of the Libre glass ’n poly Large Tea Glass to all of you. I am a big iced tea drinker, and have wanted to get back into drinking hot tea, so this tea glass had me intrigued from the beginning. When I received it, I first took it apart to see how it went together. I was immediately impressed with the stainless steel filter that allows you to brew your tea one of two ways. It also has a screw on cap to make it very portable.

I was excited to try this tea glass out, as I had never seen anything like it! I was patient though and viewed their ‘How to use your Libre’ video first. I chose to brew my tea by putting the loose leaf tea into the filter that screws onto the glass, poured hot water through the tea, and tightened the cap onto the top. The directions say to turn the glass upside down with this brewing method (pictured on the right). This picture was taken after 3-4 minutes of steeping. Once I was happy with the color of the tea, I simply discarded the loose tea, and rinsed out the filter – clean up was a breeze.

The Libre tea glasses are thermal and have a glass interior, with a durable poly exterior. So you get a health conscious glass interior and durable poly exterior that keeps tea hot, yet cool to touch. I was drinking delicious hot tea for close to 30 minutes, and the glass kept my tea hot the entire time it took me to drink it. The Libre Glass ‘n Poly keeps your tea hot for approximately one hour, and the Glass ‘n Glass model keeps it warm a little longer. Plus because it has the outer glass, I could pick it up with no problem. It was easy to handle. I can also see the great ways I can have my iced tea in the summer months, and keep it cold with the tea glass. Quick AND convenient!

You can purchase Libre tea glasses, mugs and loose tea directly from their website. The Libre collection includes the 9oz. Original, 14 oz. Large (the size I’m reviewing here) and a 10 oz Mug, plus Libre Tea also sells loose tea. All of their tea glasses are BPA free and great for any beverage. Each has the removable stainless-steel filter that keeps tea leaves in the glass, out of your mouth and is removable for easy cleaning. Libre Tea ships from Vancouver, Canada and Los Angeles, CA.

Any of the Libre tea glasses would make a great gift (thinking about the holidays!) for any tea drinker in your life, or maybe you are the tea drinker who could benefit from having a Tea Moment with your Libre tea glass. This glass can be used with loose, or bagged teas. It is versatile and can be taken with you to have tea anywhere.
