I have the most exciting job. Honestly, I really do. I get so excited when I find amazing products that I never would have found or seen without doing this for a living. It is especially refreshing to bring you a company that you can also enjoy and experience their amazing products. Today I am going to tell you about some fabulous bath and body skin care items that are going to thrill you too!
My skin is somewhat dry on a regular basis, but in the winter months, it can get really bad. My legs suffer the most so the first thing I do when I get out of the shower is lather on the lotion. I got to review some fabulous products with natural botanical extracts in them and what a difference a change makes.
Made by Bioken, the Pequi Body Care line is made from luscious ingredients that includes a unique blend of healing and anti-aging rain forest fruits and botanical extracts like Pequi from the Amazon. I was sent 3 products from this line the Bioken Pequi Body Wash, the Body Lotion and the Body Oil (spray) to try out. I was excited to try this product out for several reasons. My skin is very dry right now due to the weather and the amazing fragrance was calling my name!
I tried the Body Wash first. This has deep skin moisturizing properties from Vitamin A, E and C that is added into the soap as well as a blend of essential fatty acids, which is ideal for the treatment of dry skin. Pequi also heals skin and scalp problems like eczema, psoriasis and dry cracked skin. . The scent is wonderful and and the body wash is lush and delicious. You can use it on a pouf if you want. The liquid is on the thick side so it doesn’t go running through your hands or the pouf sponge. It has a nice lather and did a great job cleaning. Lovely!
After I got out of the shower I used the Pequi Body Oil on my legs. This is a antioxidant rich hydrating body oil spray that absorbs deeply into skin to provide restoration, retexturizing and relaxation. It evens the skin tone and provides nourishing benefits without clogging pores. This anti-aging emollient protects against UV damage.
From below the knee, my legs are super dry. I have never used a body oil before and what I was thinking was that it was going to be laying on my skin and slowly absorbing in. What I found was that by spraying the oil onto my legs, it absorbs really quickly since my legs were so dry. I rubbed it in and my legs are so soft! Here I am writing this almost 7 hours later and they still feel moisturized and touchable. I love that it could soothe dry skin so well. Awesome!
Last but not in the least, I used the Pequi Body Lotion on my arms, neck and torso. I could not wait to break into this one as the scent, even through the foil seal on the tube, was gorgeous! This is made from the pulp of the Pequi fruit and loaded with Pro Vitamin A, which is known for its repairing and protective properties. This lotion also have properties that calm and soothe your skin helping it heal dry skin and prevent future dryness!
I am in love with this lotion, well the whole line really, but the lotion is thick, rich and hugely emollient. My skin looked so healthy after I put it on. I am in love with the fruity scent and it did not bother me at all. It is a long lasting lotion that is all natural and works well for all skin types. This is in a nice size tube and will last me a long time, thank goodness! I have a feeling it will be gone really fast! LOL
The entire line of Bioken Pequi products are like none other that I have tested for you all. I remember that my mom used the Bioken products in her hair exclusively and loved the line. I wish I had known about these other products sooner. They work wonders on my skin!
