My Review: The generous folks over at Kicking Horse Coffee sent me a 12.3 oz. canister of their KICK ASS dark roast coffee beans. My hubby and mother love intense, strong, full-bodied coffees and this coffee is perfect for them! This coffee is a mix of Indonesian and Central American beans…very strong, intense, full-bodied coffee guaranteed to get your motors running quickly! My hubby immediately got busy grinding up some of these coffee beans and told me right away that he could tell this was going to be a great cup of coffee just by smelling the beans and looking at them. (he is more of a coffee pro than what I am). Once he was done…he brewed an entire pot of coffee for all of us to enjoy. My entire kitchen smelled wonderful…I love smelling great coffee early in the morning! Anyway…he added some sugar and cream to his coffee, my mother drinks her’s black and I added just a little cream to mine. Now personally…this coffee is a tad too strong for me so I did have to go back and add more cream to mine. With that said…my hubby and my mother were ALL OVER THIS coffee! The two of them love strong dark roast, full-bodied coffees so they were quickly onto their second cups within 15 minutes.
We have been brewing and drinking the coffee for the past several days and my mother and hubby just keep raving about it. One comment my mother made really sticks with me and she said that the coffee tastes so rich & fresh like the beans were delivered 4 hours after harvesting them. She can’t believe how fresh this coffee tastes when it was shipped to use from Canada. That just goes to show you that this coffee is high-quality coffee that is always delivered to you fresh. We think you all will LOVE this coffee and we hope you give Kicking Horse Coffee a try!
