Essential Safe Products is the name and they are a relatively new site dedicated to keeping your homes and kitchens and ultimately our bodies free of chemical laden materials. I love their selection of products! The have everything from Stainless to Bamboo and Glass products used in ways I never knew was available before. I have my eye on several of their items for my kitchen conversion!
I was sent a great storage bowl for review today. It is an Anchor Hocking 7 cup round bowl with a BPA free lid. I was just eyeing these in the store the other day so I was really excited to be able to review one for you. I love glass bowls so this is right up my alley. I used it for leftovers the very day it came!
The lid is very cool It has a clear middle and then the BHA Free plastic lid is flexible and conforms to the bowl for a very nice seal. It sucks down onto the rim and seals great! It is not super tight like you feel some lids should be, but it does a great job! I am in love with this bowl. The size is perfect and I have been using it for leftovers, for mixing and for serving foods at dinner time. It is super versatile!
Anchor Hocking made this product over safe up to 425 and it is microwave safe too. You can freeze with it, but don’t place it right into an oven while the food inside is frozen. It is also dishwasher safe. I am loving my bowl and plan on getting several more sizes.
