Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Pig of the Month which is owned and operated by the Richards family. This family traveled all around the country trying out various bbq ribs from all kinds of places…from fancy dinning to hole in the wall mom & pop diners…they have tried them all! The family soon realized that they could make their own bbq ribs that taste delicious and sell them to the public and to businesses, which we are so glad that they did. These bbq ribs are some of the best that you will ever taste and with great pleasure we get to talk to you today about them!
The generous folks over at Pig of the Month sent us a 2 lb. rack of their pork baby back ribs to try out for all of you! These ribs are fully-cooked and ready to go so all you have to do is reheat them. You can slap them onto your grill, in a baking dish in your oven, microwave them or even place them in your crockpot…the choice is yours! If you love tasty quick dinners…these ribs are for you! They also sent along a bottle of their barbecue sauce for us to use with the ribs! We love a lot of sauce on our ribs so we used 1/2 the bottle on them and then slapped them up onto our grill. We grilled each side for 3-4 minutes and they were done! (your ribs come along with a card that tells you how to reheat them). Hubby and I sat down to eat them and let me tell you…they smelled delicious, they looked delicious and guess what? They tasted delicious!!! The meat just fell off the bone and you could taste all of the mouth-watering flavor all the way through them! They were moist, flavorful and finger-licking good! (yes folks…we even licked our fingers!!!).
A few nights later we used the other 1/2 of the bottle of bbq sauce on some chicken wings and grilled those up…oh my gosh….their sauce is fantastic on chicken too! When it comes to barbecue sauces…sometimes they can be too spicy, too sweet or too plain/mild tasting but these ribs and their bbq sauce is really perfection in a bottle! The ribs and sauce will arrive to you in a styrofoam cooler packed on dry ice…you will simply remove them from the cooler and freeze or refrigerate until ready to use.
This year why not try some delicious barbeque ribs for your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner instead of the traditional boring old turkey and/or ham? Yes folks…it is time we break from the normal and go for some delicious ribs this holiday season! Need a special gift? I think their products would make an excellent gift for anyone on your holiday shopping list!!! To go along with the ribs they also sell pulled pork and some tasty side dishes too!
