Today I would like to introduce you to the small, family-owned eco-friendly company called Shop to be Green who sells a variety of eco-friendly, organic and natural products for yourself, for your home and for gifts. My Review: The generous folks over at Shop to be Green sent me 3 products to try out for all of you. First up…I received a pack of their 6″ Square Verterra Disposable Dinnerware Bowls that are made from fallen palm leaves and they are 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. These bowls came just at the perfect time for us to evaluate them as we had a death in the family last week and we have been hosting various family members at our home the past few days and these have came in handy! My guests have been eating a variety of foods from these fabulous disposable bowls which has saved me a lot of time doing dishes. I love the shape of these palm leave bowls and they look super modern & cute sitting on our dinner table. We love these bowls and they are so much better than foam or paper bowls that you get at the grocery store when you need disposable dinnerware. These dinnerware bowls cost only $7.00 for a pack of 8.
The second product that we reviewed is the Solay Simple Fruit & Veggie Wash in the 32 oz. sized bottle that sells for $8.95. I have been using Fruit & Veggie washes for years but this is the first time that I am trying out the Solay brand. I love the size of this bottle as 32 oz. will last me for a few months unlike those small bottles I find at my local store. I rinsed my fruit under some tap water and then sprayed them lightly with the wash, did some light scrubbing and then rinsed again. I love that there is absolutely NO odor with this wash! LOVE IT!!!
The final product that we reviewed is the G.B. Proudfoot’s Humble Organics Original Lip Balm that sells for $4.00 per tube. The flavor I am reviewing is the delicious Ginger & Orange. The first thing I noticed is that the balm is in an oval shaped container and I love that because it doesn’t roll off the table or the top of my bathroom vanity! (clever!). I am a big lip balm user and I love this lip balm! It goes on smoothly (not sticky or greasy) and has a delicious light ginger & orange taste to it.
