Here is some information about bamboo: Bamboo fiber is extremely luxurious, soft, and comfortable to the touch kind of like cashmere. Bamboo has incredible health qualities as it kills bacteria and other harmful microscopic organisms. This keeps you and your products cleaner and in some instances can heal certain maladies. For towels bamboo is 3-4 times more absorbent than cotton, and our towels are around 50% thinner than 100% cotton towels. Bamboo fabric is also extremely breathable making it a pleasure to sleep in.
My Review: I was sent a 3 piece bamboo towel set to review for all of you. The towel set that I received is in the beautiful Au Natural color which is the perfect sand color for my beach theme’d master bathroom. The set includes a 13″ x 13″ bamboo towel (wash cloth), a 15″ x 30″ bamboo hand towel and a 30″ x 56″ bamboo bath towel. These items are generously over-sized and I love that! They are machine wash on the gentle cycle and tumble dry low…easy care!
Once my package arrived…I laundered them so that I could see how they come out after laundering and let me tell you…they came out looking brand spanking new with absolutely no fading nor shrinking. I then inspected each towel and looked at their seams and they were all perfect. There were no snags or any defects on any of the towels. My next test was to put them to use! I hopped into the bubble bath & enjoyed a soak and when I got out I wrapped myself in the large bath towel and immediately felt the soft bamboo against my skin. These towels are super absorbent and I was warm and dry within seconds.
The hand towel is the perfect size for my large bathroom towel ring. I am a frequent hand washer and usually around lunchtime my hand towel is a sopping wet mess…however, with these super absorbent bamboo towels, that didn’t happen! Not only are these towels super absorbent but they dry super quickly. Regarding the wash cloth…I love this super soft wash cloth for my daily face washings as I hate using scratchy stiff cotton wash cloths on my face. I love the 13″ x 13″ size on this wash cloth!
